What are the 9 core knowledge areas for accounting assessment?
The areas are: accounting systems and processes, financial accounting and reporting, management accounting, finance, business law, taxation, audit and assurance, economics, and quantitative methods. Your degree must substantially cover all nine.
What if my degree does not cover all 9 areas?
You can complete bridging subjects through the assessing body or another recognised institution. CPA, CAANZ, and IPA all offer or accept bridging programs. This is common for overseas-qualified accountants.
Can I choose any of the three bodies?
