Frequently asked questions.

Answers to commonly asked questions about our platform

  • Will I get a bridging visa?

If you are in Australia when you lodge, you typically receive a Bridging Visa A (BVA) that activates when your current visa expires. This allows you to stay lawfully while your application is processed.

  • Can I travel while my application is being processed?

If you are offshore, yes. If you are onshore on a bridging visa, you need a Bridging Visa B (BVB) to travel and return. Apply for this before departing.

  • How will I know if my visa is granted?

You will receive an email notification from the Department of Home Affairs via ImmiAccount. The visa grant letter includes your visa conditions and grant date.
